Heavy light

Colorado, I just finished walking Marley, my lovely and ever-energetic companion. It’s dark, quiet, cold, and crisp outside, the kind of chill that wakes up your senses. It snowed all day long, with soft snowflakes falling constantly, layering the world in white. Every time I glance out the window, more snow is still gently drifting down. Our Christmas tree is lit up warmly, and the fresh snow makes it look even more magical under the bright, twinkling lights. I couldn’t resist—I had to take a picture to capture this perfect winter moment.
